This time, with your help, we're donating desperately needed food to rescues and shelters around the country.  It's simple, buy a bracelet and you've helped donate 10 bowls of food to a needy shelter.  Buy five bracelets, that's
50
bowls!

It's completely heart breaking. There are thousands upon thousands of animals without homes. Some are lucky enough to be rescued; others are not and live on the streets. And, those that are rescued wait for their forever homes in shelters, many of which are run almost completely by volunteers, who do it because they care so much. Funds are limited and so many of these rescues and shelters struggle just to feed their animals. We get calls and emails every day asking for help and realized we just had to do something.

So, we've taken a bit of a departure in our approach to this incredibly important cause. We're donating food to smaller shelters all over the country. With your help, we're picking rescue organizations around the country and providing them with funding for food for their animals — 10 bowls for every "I'm Tired of Hungry Animals" bracelet you buy and 5 bowls for every bumper sticker.

We need your help to find and select rescues and shelters who need our support. Please send us the names and contact information for your favorite animal rescue organizations right away by clicking below!

Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen was launched in early 2008 to act, in essence, as a soup kitchen for pets, providing pet food to help financially struggling families continue to feed their fur kids. With rescues and shelters so overwhelmed, the best chance these animals have of survival and happiness is to stay with their families.

If someone cannot take care of their pet, we all know what often happens next...  Let's help keep these families together.  Click here to learn more about Daffy's.
Muttville's mission is to change the way the world thinks about and treats older dogs and to create better lives for them through rescue, foster, adoption and hospice.  The saddest thing of all is an abandoned older doggie.  Check them out for yourselves at www.muttville.org.

We are looking forward to adding more incredible organizations like these in 2010.
