This video below shows just how special Best Friends Animal Society is.  It is one of the many reasons why we chose them and why your support is so critically important.

Best Friends Animal Society is one of the few organizations in the country capable of executing major rescue efforts, like what you've just watched. This heartbreaking case involved a breeder, facing charges for not having a license for his 200 dogs.
He set fire to his house and kennel, leaving the
dogs behind to survive or not. Best Friends was
able to rescue all but a few. The organization has also mounted similar rescues for natural disasters, like Hurricane Katrina, and other failed shelter and puppy mill situations. But, there's so much more to Best Friends and its amazing 33,000 acre sanctuary in Utah, that is home to more than 2,000 dogs, cats and other animals, many of whom have special needs.

Our passion at I'm Tired of... is to eliminate animal cruelty and to support rescue, rehabilitation and adoption efforts. We've also had such an outpouring of support from so many of you, who are equally passionate and compelled to help the animals. But, we're just scratching the surface. Together, we can help eliminate the widespread abuse and neglect of dogs, cats and other precious animals. We can provide food, medical supplies and humane shelters. We can support spay/neuter and adoption programs. There's so much work to be done. You can help us make this happen!

"I proudly wear an 'I'm Tired of Animal Cruelty' bracelet every day — one more way to bring about awareness. When people ask about my bracelet, I talk with them about puppy mills, dog fighting, pet retention and proper care vs. abuse and neglect."
— Sherry Woodard, "Dogtown"

"Wearing an 'I'm Tired of Animal Cruelty' bracelet is a cool, hip and fashionable way to promote animal welfare. I enjoy the concept of wearing something trendsetting, and at the same time, promoting an outstanding cause!
— Richard Crook, Best Friends Animal Society
