Red

This is Red, a domestic Himalayan cross - which in today’s world makes him a “designer kitty.” He was left behind when his owner moved out of state. She assumed he would learn to hunt for himself and survive. What he learned was that I was nearby and had sucker written all over me, so he adopted me. That’s why he’s laughing. He’s saying “I got this woman wrapped around my little paw!”

Ricky

This is my boy, Ricky. He’s a five year old Domestic Shorthair that I adopted from a no-kill shelter. While at the shelter, he was a hero! He was a blood donor, saving the lives of many sick kitties. He’s very smart. I was telling Ricky that he shouldn’t chew on the blanket he was laying on. And right when he said, “Yes, Daddy,” his picture was taken. Isn’t he adorable?

This is a picture of one of my cats, Dale (he has a brother, Chip.. yes, I’m serious- Chip & Dale), taken on Christmas, as he opened one of his gifts from his “Meow-ma and Meow-pa” (cat-speak for Grandma and Grandpa)… Apparently, he found it so hilarious that they purchased gifts for him that he couldn’t help but laugh hysterically!

Maggie Leigh

Winston Churchill

This is Winston Churchill, a Tabby cat. He came to us over the course of a few cool October days. He would bring me a little blind mole, leave it next to my door and watch from a little distance to see if I liked my gift. Next morning, same thing, and there he was, eager to see if I took the bait. Third day, again. I could not take it. I already had a couple cats and my husband gave me the old “don’t even think about it look,” but I did not listen and took him in, got him into the vet and he gets lots of good meals each day now and has lots of reason to smile.

Coleman & Condor

This is a picture of our cat, Coleman, and our retired racing greyhound, Condor. It’s a close up of them laying next to each other on our bed. Condor is in the classic greyhound position called ‘roaching’. Coleman is snuggled up next to her, and yup, that’s definitely a smile on his face.

Bailey

Bailey is a 13 year-old, 3 legged, rescued seal-point Siamese who lives in Los Angeles, California (where else would a “Star” live?).
Bailey is laughing at “Stupid People Tricks” that his humans do to entertain him, such as crawling on the floor and getting their hands stuck under furniture, trying to retrieve toys, which he has so thoughtfully pushed under there.
