Can discrimination still exist on a large scale within New York city government offices and services? No way, right?
Discrimination
Can this still happen in New York?
Monday, August 3rd, 2009The Battle Against Discrimination is all Uphill
Friday, June 12th, 2009The shooting Wednesday at the Holocaust Museum by a white supremacist reminds us once again that discrimination and hate on all levels is alive and well in our world. It is incomprehensible that there are human beings who could have such an unconscionable set of beliefs and then violently act on them, taking another human life or lives.
While perhaps we’ve seen improvements in some forms of discrimination, such as gender and racial over the past several years, it’s become quite apparent that when it comes to religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation, we’re still in the “stone age.”
We are committed to raising money to help Human Rights First fight against all forms of discrimination.
