The shooting Wednesday at the Holocaust Museum by a white supremacist reminds us once again that discrimination and hate on all levels is alive and well in our world. It is incomprehensible that there are human beings who could have such an unconscionable set of beliefs and then violently act on them, taking another human life or lives.
While perhaps we’ve seen improvements in some forms of discrimination, such as gender and racial over the past several years, it’s become quite apparent that when it comes to religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation, we’re still in the “stone age.”
We are committed to raising money to help Human Rights First fight against all forms of discrimination.
