I know you never would have guessed, but we are an office full of animal lovers here. So, I was shocked when I realized we hadn’t introduced you to our office cat. Her name is “Melas,” yet she is fondly referred to as “Maalox”…don’t ask. It’s something Dan started calling her and it stuck. Plus, shes just so soothing.
We adopted her after her former owner decided to move to Bali and left her here. She was really shy at the beginning, but now she pretty much runs the place. She also has her own “I’m Tired of Animal Cruelty” bracelet… although it’s more of a cat toy for her than a bracelet. She also seems to have taken a liking to a sweatshirt that’s on my desk, but that will probably change next week…you know how cats are…
